Just when you thought PB&J couldn't get any more convenient

The original fast food for moms on the go just got easier:

Are you serious? Have we become so rushed for time that we cannot even make ourselves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? And I used to scoff at Goober. This is the epitome of lazy.

I'm all for the "future" and making lives easier, but what's next? IV bags at the grocery store that you can attach to your Bluetooth, or garment hooks in the car?

No time to chew? Too busy for the hassles of digestion? IV bags distribute the nutrition you need directly to your bloodstream. No muss, no fuss.

What ever happened to enjoying one's food?

I have often thought the very same thing about this particular product. Horrific.

I often thought of adding croutons to Goober 'n' Grape (Y'know, the peanut butter and jelly together in the same jar?). That way, all your kid would need is a spoon to enjoy a lazy lunch.

I like it! PB&J on a spoon. Packaged no doubt in vacuum sealed single servings with tiny disposable plastic spoons.

Every generation is that much lazier than the last, but no more appalled than the generation before. We see the follies of our own time and we don't see that they are NOT unique and current. We should ask an ancient vampire how he feels about Uncrustables... he probably wouldn't think they were much worse than store bought jelly or drive-thru restaurants. It's been a long time comin, and it ain't so different from anything else that ever happened. I don't know any ancient vampires though, so I probably shouldn't speak for them.
